Charles T. (Charlie) Walsh is the Founder and President of HOPS International LLC, a globally recognized Organizational & Leadership Development consulting services organization, providing integrated solutions in leadership competency development, organizational assessment & development, executive leadership coaching, cultural assessment & alignment, and human performance improvement. With more than 50 years of progressive leadership experience, he is globally recognized and respected for innovative design and implementation of transformational leadership initiatives, governance development strategies, and high-performance culture solutions across global enterprises, governments, and nonprofit organizations. Charlie’s philosophy is driven by his passion for learning and a core principle driven by his personal experiences serving in key leadership roles in the public and private sectors. Charlie applies this key principle by intentionally avoiding “off-the-shelf” and “one-size-fits-all” solutions for his clients.
Operating globally since the mid-1990s, HOPS International LLC has supported client organizations across more than 26 countries and throughout the U.S. Embassy and USAID networks. Charlie is known for combining customized diagnostic assessment, competency-based development, personalized coaching, and practical implementation strategies to help organizations improve leadership capacity, performance alignment, and sustainable results.
Charlie is a recognized international lecturer, trainer, facilitator, and executive performance coach whose work spans the executive board room to frontline employee populations. His career reflects unusual breadth across federal service, international development, executive education, public-sector consulting, hospitality, manufacturing, and leadership innovation. He continues to advance practical, human-centered leadership excellence through HOPS International LLC and related global initiatives.
