How do conscious leadership cultures impact wellbeing,

engagement, purpose, relationships, innovation, results, and more?

The LFC’s 2024, its 106th year, summit focused on Cultivating Conscious Leadership Cultures. We built on what we have learned about Conscious Leadership. We learnt what conscious leadership cultures look like, feel like, and the impact they have. Ultimately, we collaborated to create a rubric that can help leaders, organizations, and communities grow into and sustain their culture to be a more conscious and impactful one.

The 2024 Leadership Forum Summit took place on July 9-12 both online and in-person at Montclair State University, Montclair, New Jersey.

Together we explored and synthesized the transformative power of conscious leadership cultures. Participants had the opportunity to:

Engage with local and global provocateurs as they share stories, innovations, research, and best practices.
Connect with a committed conscious leadership community.
Obtain a number of conscious leadership tools, resources, and practices to enhance your personal leadership journey and/or to implement in your organizations and communities.

Paul Martinez, Chief Leadership and Human Capital Strategist at W.K. Kellogg Foundation, illuminated how trust serves as the bedrock of a culture through interactive trust-building activities and insightful anecdotes.

Mies de Koning, VP of Organizational Development and Learning at The Rockefeller Foundation, introduced the transformative concept of intervision—a collaborative dialogue method fostering an action-oriented learning culture among leaders and networks.

Maha El-Sheikh and Brooke D. Lavelle, Co-Founders of Courage of Care Coalition, offered participants an experience of their iterative framework, CourageRISE, which leverages spiritual, contemplative, psychological, philosophical and somatic lineages in service of expanding our heartfelt and skillful capacity for relational tending.

Christopher Gray, a Conscious Leadership Development Facilitator and Coach, explored how AI can help us be better humans, coaches, and colleagues.

Shawntee Reed, formerly a global led of diversity and inclusion at Block, lead an immersive workshop on the pivotal role of belonging plays in an engaged and empowered culture.

Mike Morrison, Co-author of “Creating Meaningful Change,” and Clint Kofford, Chief Talent Learning Officer at Covetrus Inc., guided participants through a transformative session based on their book Creating Meaningful Change.
