The Collective

Leadership Grows When Shared.

Welcome to The Collective – a dynamic community of conscious leaders who believe that leadership grows when shared.

Think of us as a human library: a place where coaches, facilitators, innovators, and everyday leaders offer their wisdom through the lens of conscious leadership: expanding awareness, clarifying intentions, and taking responsible action.

Together, we strengthen leadership, expand networks, and amplify impact – proving what’s possible when conscious leaders unite and say, “Look what we accomplished together!”

Values

Excellence with Impact:

We deliver work that creates real, lasting change

Conscious Integrity:

We act with honesty, awareness, and accountability.

Energized Purpose:

We bring passion and intention to everything we do.

Collaborative Strength:

We grow through partnership, shared wisdom, and co-creation.

Expanding Capacity:

We elevate ourselves and others to lead with greater clarity and capability.

Service Offerings

Our programs are intentionally flexible. They can be delivered in-person, remotely, online, or in a hybrid model—and may be facilitated by a single consultant or a collaborative team of Collective practitioners, depending on your needs.

Coaching & Mentoring

A comprehensive range of support from group mentoring and multi-month mentoring relationships to executive coaching coupled with assessments and vertical development methodologies.

Change

Intentional change journeys designed to build awareness, alignment, and ownership at every level of an organization. We blend conscious leadership practices with practical tools to help individuals and systems navigate complexity, reduce resistance, and turn change into sustainable transformation.

Culture

Purpose-driven initiatives that shape how leadership is experienced and expressed across an organization. We cultivate cultures rooted in responsibility, trust, and expanded awareness—aligning values, behaviors, and systems to embed conscious leadership into everyday practice.

Team Development

Collaborative initiatives focused on creating meaningful change together. We take a conscious leadership approach to addressing real community and organizational challenges.

Learning Development

Integrated learning experiences that strengthen both horizontal and vertical leadership growth. We build practical skills and competencies (horizontal development) while expanding mindset, perspective, and meaning-making capacity (vertical development) to support leaders in navigating increasing complexity with clarity and intention.

Joel Wright
President of Leadership Forum Community

Joel F. Wright is a leadership architect, social entrepreneur, and organizational learning strategist dedicated to expanding access to leadership development for people everywhere. His work is grounded in a core question: What would the world look like if everyone had access to leadership development? That question began taking shape during his work with the Sri Lanka YMCA, where he witnessed how leadership training empowered communities responding to the Indian Ocean Tsunami. Since then, Joel has spent over twenty years designing and scaling leadership development initiatives across nonprofit, corporate, academic, and global development sectors, always with a focus on equity, resilience, and conscious leadership.

Joel has held senior leadership and innovation roles at the Center for Creative Leadership, Block, Inc., and as President of the Leadership Forum Community, where he is working to transform a century-old YMCA leadership conference into a thriving 501(c)(3) organization with global reach. He is known for pioneering scalable frameworks, digital tools, and experiential learning approaches that move individuals, teams, and entire systems forward—from boardrooms to retreat centers and camp classrooms. Joel holds a Master’s degree in Educational Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship from UNC-Chapel Hill and is the author of multiple publications on leadership development.
